Xiaoyu Bot, the first robotics company in the Xiaomi ecosystem to leverage large model technology, recently announced the closing of its Series A financing, raising 100 million RMB. The round was exclusively funded by the Beijing Information Industry Development Investment Fund. This follows a 100 million RMB angel round led by Xiaomi Group, Professor Wang Tianmiao, and the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI).

Founded in 2023 by Xiaomi's core founding team, Xiaoyu Bot focuses on developing large model robotics technology tailored for industrial applications, creating a “universal brain” for robots to handle a wide range of tasks.
On the team side, Xiaoyu Bot's founder, Qiao Zhongliang, was one of Xiaomi’s original team members and previously served as head of MIUI development. Co-founder Wang Wenlin, formerly General Manager of Xiaomi's Software System Platform Department, led the development of "Xiaomi Brain." The core team comprises experts from Xiaomi, Microsoft, Huawei, and ByteDance.
On the product side, Xiaoyu Bot has developed the "Xiaoyu Brain," a universal robotic brain enabling robots to perform various tasks in industrial settings. The company has created an independently developed large model robotics solution featuring high precision, robustness, and generalization capabilities.
