WeChat Film Completes RMB1.5 Billion Series C Financing, CEC Capital Served as Exclusive Financial Advisor

WeChat Film, China's leading online ticketing platform originally spun off from Tencent, owner of the popular Wechat services, today announced that it had completed it has raised RMB1.5 billion ($230 million) in Series C financing. In April this year, the company completed raised $105 million in Series B financing which was led by Tencent and Wanda Group.
CEC Capital (formerly China eCapital), having also advised the company in previous round of financing, served as the exclusive financial adviser to Wechat Film in this transaction.
